2009 China-Korea
Bio-medical Technology Exchange Fairs was successfully held at
Tianjin Binhai New Area in 16th -17th of
November, 2009. This fairs was sponsored by Tianjin Science and
Technology Commission, Korea Ministry of Knowledge Economy and
GYEONGBUK Technopark Foundation, organized by Northern Technology
Exchange Market (NTEM), Tianjin International Joint Academy of
Biotechnology & Medicine (TJAB),
Beijing Gyeongbuk Technology Service Ltd.,Co.(BGT) and Pohang
Center for Evaluation of Biomaterials. At the same time, Korean
Bio-medical Association and
Busan Technopark Marine Bio-industry Development Center fully
supported to this fairs.
There are 12 Korean institutes and enterprises in the field of
bio-medical technology in Tianjin who involved in one to one meeting
with nearly 30 institutes and enterprises from Tianjin.
On the seminar, the four Korean institutes introduced their own
running conditions and assumptions about the cooperation with
Tianjin institutes. Correspondingly, Tianjin institutes also
presented appropriate contents to the Korean companies. Meanwhile,
TJAB and NTEM signed memorandums of cooperation with GYEONGBUK
Technopark Foundation, Korean Bio-medical Association and
Pohang
Center for Evaluation of Biomaterials separately.
On the opening ceremony of the fairs, Ms. Baochun Li, deputy
director of Tianjin Science and Technology Commission, and Mr. Chang
Rae-Woong, the leader of the Korean delegation made speeches on
behalf of China and Korea. In the following one to one meetings,
there are more than 50 meetings held among the companies from China
and Korea. In the same time, the institutes from China and Korea
were also communicated and discussed deeply and a number of
agreements have achieved regarding the cooperation in the field of
bio-medical technology between China and Korea.
This event can also be regarded as a new attempt of NTEM to provide
special services in Tianjin¡¯s biomedical field. |
