2001 International Symposium of Agricultural Product Processing and Storage, China (Tianjin) 2001 International Symposium of Agricultural Product Processing and Storage, China £¨Tianjin), which is co-sponsored by Chinese Agricultural Ministry and Tianjin Municipal Government, closed in Northern Technology Exchange Market on Nov. 13th. Dr. Zuo Tianjue, Cheng Huixian and other noted experts on agriculture at home and abroad presented at the opening ceremony. More than 60 science and research institutes and foreign enterprises participated in the exhibition and laid out their new products and technologies of agricultural product processing & storage, such as Chinese Academy of Forestry, China Agricultural University, ISOLCELL from Italy, SIBERHEGNER from Switzerland, and Dynasty Co. During the symposium, experts on agriculture from Chinese Academy of Forestry, Chinese Academy of Agriculture, and ISOLCELL gave five lectures on the related technologies of agricultural product processing & storage. The exhibition hosted visitors from 17 provinces and areas of China, as well as those from foreign countries, like America, Canada and Australia, etc. It eventually achieved 122,100,000 RMB of a series of contracted cooperation intent. And this exhibition made a good chance for the agricultural industry in Tianjin to communicate and cooperate with domestic science and research institutes special in agriculture and joint ventures well.¡¡¡¡
