The theme of the Forum is promoting economic development in Bohai-Rim Region. During the Forum, some departments in Tianjin publicized more than 100 projects information. The domestic and overseas Chinese businessmen held meeting with them to discuss some projects such as financial development, construction of facilities and environmental protection. Through the meeting, reached nine projects reached agreement. The total investment of projects is 18.75 billion RMB.

The domestic and overseas Chinese businessmen, the leaders of Returned Overseas Chinese Federation and returned overseas Chinese professionals met in Binhai New Area, put forward to some good plans and ideas about economic development in Bohai-Rim Region, especially about the development and opening-up of Binhai New Area so as to further develop the new fields of economic and trade cooperation.
