As one of the most important activities of EU-China S&T Year, 2nd China-Spain Technology Cooperation Forum &New Technology, New Production Technomart sponsored by department of International cooperation, China MOST, Tianjin Science and Technology Commission, TEDA and Spanish Andalusia Automation Region Ministry of Innovation Science and organized by NTEM was held at Binhai New Area International Conference and Exhibition Center. Mr. Yang Dongliang, vice Mayor of Tianjin Municipal Government, attended the opening ceremony of the conference. Mr. Juan Trull└n Thomas, Secretary General of Spanish Industry, Trade and Tourism Department, attended the opening ceremony of the conference and gave the speech. Mr. Francisco Vallejo Serrano, director of Andalusian Ministry of Innovation Science and Enterprise, attended the opening ceremony and gave the speech. Mr. Pablo Bravo, the ambassador of Sino-Spain Year, attended the opening ceremony and gave the speech. Mr. Yao Weike, vice director department of International cooperation of China MOST, attended the opening ceremony and gave the speech. People from Torch High Technology Development Center, Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Tianjin Foreign Affairs Office, Tianjin Binhai New Area, TEDA, Tianjin port free trade zone, Dagang district government, Tianjin Information Office attended the conference. More than 150 people from Spanish delegation also attended opening ceremony and participated in the exhibition and one-to-one meeting. The delegations from 20 provinces and cities such as Tianjin, Beijing, Hebei Province and Shandong Province, attended the opening ceremony and participated in the meeting. In the afternoon, Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Commission signed the scientific cooperation memorandum with Spanish Andalusian Ministry of Innovation Science and Enterprise. Dagang District and NTEM signed the frame contract with Spanish Andalusian scientific park allies for establishing the Spanish scientific park.?
On the Forum, 10 persons from Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Commission, China MOST, Torch High Technology Development Center, TEDA, Beijing Haidian District, Nankai University and 14 experts from Spain gave 24 speeches in terms of science park management & cooperation, energy science, IT, agriculture and biotechnology. There are 260 exhibition stands for new technology and new products. Over 100 projects of 94 Spanish enterprises and institutes were participated in the exhibition and meeting. 500 enterprises and institutes from Tianjin and other provinces nationwide participated in the exhibition and technical negotiation. The expected meetings could exceed 900. This conference is the large event between Tianjin and European nations. In the afternoon of Nov. 30th, the director of Andalusian Technology Cooperation Department and Mr. Xavier L┏pez Luj│n, Spanish Technology & Innovation Association (FEDIT), visited the Dagang district. They have discussed about establishing the Spanish science park and also have basic cooperation intentions. |
