On July 24th, 2007, ¡°2007 CHINA-KOREA TECHNOMART £¨TIANJIN£©¡± supported by Torch High Technology Industry Development Center of Ministry of China Science and Technology, Tianjin Science& Technology Commission and Tianjin Binhai New Area Administrative Commission, sponsored by Northern Technology Exchange Market, Kyongbuk Science Park, Daegu Science Park, was held in Tianjin Binhai New Area.

There are 18 enterprises five Science Parks in Korea, including Gyeongju, Daegu, Kyonggi, Busan and Gwangju with over 20 technical projects for the Technomart. Those technologies involved in the fields of IT, biotech, machinery, and chemical industry and so on. All Korean enterprises have strong willing to cooperate with Chinese enterprises and develop Chinese market. Some of the projects have already granted for the patent in Korea, which are very original in the aspect of technology. Although this technomart held in Binhai New Area, but there were other small and medium enterprises from Bohai Rim Region participating in the Technomart such as Hebei, Shandong. About one hundred Chinese enterprises, which are either the high technology enterprises from Binhai New Area or SMEs from Bohai Rim Region, held one-to-one meeting with Korean enterprises.

Before the Technomnart, the sponsors held the ceremony of Binhai New Area Office of Kyongbuk Science Park in Northern Technology Exchange Market branch in Binhai, which showed that Northern Technology Exchange Market had great progress in attracting overseas technology transfer organizations to Binhai New Area. Northern Technology Exchange Market will have further cooperation with Kyongbuk Science Park. This office will attract more Korean enterprises and science and technology resources to Binhai New Area, and promote actively Korean enterprises to Tianjin for the technology communication and cooperation.

In the morning on the 24th July, Chinese and South Korean sponsors and organizers held a seminar on the special topic ¡°China-South Korea Technology Transfer¡±. During the seminar, there were still a seminar between Tianjin University and South Korean Yeungnam University. This Technomart is another successful cooperation of both sides for catching the development opportunity of Binhai New Area, following the Technomart that held in year of 2004 and 2005. Through this event, NTEM promotes the technology cooperation between Chinese enterprises in Tianjin and Bohai Rim Region and Korean enterprises, and makes great efforts to improve the range and level of developing international technology transfer for science and technology intermediary organizations in two countries.
