President of German-Chinese Friendship Association visited NTEM 　 　　 　　Miss. Luoding Rath, president of German-Chinese Friendship Association (DCF) accompanied by Mr. Lei Qingxi, chief of China MOST Torch Center paid a visit to NTEM on Apr. 18, 2007. NTEM made an introduce of service function and action pattern, achievement in Technology Transfer; Miss. Rath made an introduce of the background and tenet of DCF and the intention of visiting Tianjin, and realized NTEM¨s service content for China-Germany corporations Technology Transfer. Both sides agreed to cooperate in the field of technology transfer. 　　The German-Chinese Friendship Association (DFC) has been founded in 1995, located in Leipzig. As a German nation-wide organization, above tow thousand members come from well-known entrepreneurs, politicians, administrators etc. DFC hopes to promote reciprocal cooperation with culture, economy, social and etc. in China and Germany, and successfully organized serial forums and exhibitions between two countries, and offers consultation about Chinese affairs for members. 　　Along with the cooperation between China and Germany developing, more and more German enterprises hope to invest items in China, some German SEMs imminently hope to get more information and help about investment. This time, President Rath came to China to look for partners and hopes to enhance communication with NTEM, to compass the cooperation between each other, and to promote some concrete items. 　　During the visit, directors of Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Commission met President Rath and made a speech to introduce the item ＾China International Zone of Biotechnology and Medicine￣ , located in Binhai New Area, participated by China MOST and Tianjin Government., and encouraged DFC¨s members to jointly develop the China International Zone of Biotechnology and Medicine.
