| Foreign Experts Pay A Visit To NTEM

On the morning of Oct.26, two foreign experts attended "International Technology Transfer & Intellectual Property Strategy Seminar", Mr. Terry a Young, the president of Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM), and Mr. Uwe Haug, the head of International Affairs of Steinbeis Foundation paid a visit in NTEM respectively.
On the bases of the good communication during the "International Patent Licensing Seminar" in Tokyo in this January, the presidents of NTEM held discussions with these two
experts on the further possibility to cooperate with each other. And it was also a good chance for both experts to learn much about the operation of NTEM.
Through discussion, Mr. Haug, on behalf of Steinbeis Foundation, and NTEM signed a Letter For Cooperation Intend. In this Letter, both sides agree to establish a cooperative relationship on the bases of friendly cooperation and mutual benefit; the content of the cooperation will cover information exchange, training courses, projects, and etc.; both sides will exchange their journals and materials regularly; and so on.
During the meeting with Mr. Terry Young, both sides focused their attention on a specific project. Both sides showed their great interest on collaboration in developing technology transfer training visit to the United States. NTEM will be responsible for the recruitment of visitors from Tianjin, China, most of whom coming from universities, research institutes and technology transfer organizations. And American side will cover all the arrangements during Chinese delegation's stay in USA. This project is in the works.
