'TIANJIN£INCHEON TECHNOMART 2002' opened at Tianjin International Business Incubator of Tianjin High-Tech Industry Park on Aug. 12. Organized by Northern Technology Exchange Market, Tianjin International Business In-cubator, and Songdo Techno Park of Incheon, Korea. The TECHOMART hosted 44 people from 17 Korean companies and more than 110 Chinese companies. Mr. Liang Su, Vice Chairman of Tianjin Committee of CPPCC (Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference), and the Chief Repre-sentative of Agent in Tianjin of Incheon Metropolitan Government of Korea, Mr. Lee, Seok£Ju were present at the opening ceremony. After the opening ceremony, Tianjin International Business Incubator of Tianjin High-Tech In-dustry Park and Songdo Techno Park of Incheon, Korea signed an agree-ment for cooperation in the future. Both sides promise to make great effort to promote the cooperation in Hi-tech area between Tianjin and Incheon.
Songdo Techno Park, as one of the foreign partner of NTEM, came all the way to Tianjin some times to negotiated with NTEM on holding a TECHNO-MART in Tainjin. And both sides finally came to an agreement on 'TIANJIN£INCHEON TECHNOMART 2002'. NTEM also plays an important role in thepromotion of the cooperation between Songdo Techno Park and Tianjin International Business Incubator.
The programs of this TECHNOMART include exhibition, one-to-one business meeting and visit to some Chinese enterprises.17 Korean Companies with more than 20 technologies and products, involving electronic information in-dustry, mechanical and electronic integration, chemical industry and Bio-technology area, came to Tianjin negotiated with over 110 Chinese companies at this TECHNOMART. The total number of the one-to-one busi-ness meetings reached about 300. And the TECHNOMART featured with a variety of methods to cooperate, such as the technological cooperation, li-cense, OEM, and investment etc. During the Korean delegation's stay in Tianjin, the organizers of the TECHNOMART also arranged visits at Wuqing Development Area and Tianjin Economic & Technological Development Area, which give them a good opportunity to get well known of the present indus-trial development in Tianjin, and exchange ideas widely with Korean compa-nies in Tianjin. Till to the end of this TECHNOMART, there are several Ko-rean and Chinese companies came to cooperation intent.
'TIANJIN£INCHEON TECHNOMART 2002' ended on Aug. 15. It plays an active role on the promotion of the technological communication between China and Korea, and the enhancement of the cooperation on Hi-tech trans-formation between Tianjin and Incheon.
