| "2001 Tianjin Nanometer Technology Symposium & Seminar" held |
On 24th Sep., Northern Technology Exchange Market held "2001 Nanometer Technology Symposium & Seminar" with Tianjin Venture Investment Association. This will promote the application of the nanometer technology further, and strengthen the cooperation between the enterprises, scientific research departments and the investment institutions, as well as to speed up the process of the industrialization of the research results on nanometer field. The meeting gets great supports from Tianjin Municipal Science & Technology Commission, Tianjin Municipal Development Planning Commission and Nanometer Center of Chinese Academy of Science.
The chief scientist of The 973 Program, Mr. Zhang Lide, who specialized in nanometer material and structure, made a key report titled "The Strategic Status and Industrialization Opportunity of Nanometer Technology" at the meeting. Some famous experts and professors from Chinese Academy of Science, China Building Material Academy and Fudan University also came to the meeting and introduced the application of nanometer technology on a wide range of fields, such as plastic, dope, biology and architectural material.
Tianjin has carried out some researches and developments of nanometer material in recent years, which are of good economic prospect and high scientific level. At the meeting, we emphasized on the spread and introduction of these projects. Some investment institutions and enterprises also negotiated on some application projects of nanometer material with the scientific research institutions.
